word of advice to anyone thinking of making the same mistake i did last night........if you feel like a friendly game of poker, dont go to 'the mill' in alconbury. and if you do, dont even think about winning a hand against the landlord. i took all his money (a massive £24.50) off him on the cash table, only to have to sit and take abuse from him for the next 5 mins cos his 7 high flush draw lost to my top pair and nut flush draw. after pointing out that i wasnt actually a 'lucky prick' as he claimed, and letting him know that hed made a twat of himself, i then had to cash out and leave as he thought it would be a good idea to pull a cosh on me!
dressed in my customary flip flops and with my faithful warriors margeret 'the mouth' and pastel as back up...in a pub full of weirdos, i thought making a stand was probably not the wisest of choices!!!
