i received a phonecall from spider this morning. and without any chit chat or 'how are you's', he told me the story of last nights adventures.
he began by saying...' i was playing cash in a casino'...(in gibralta by the way)...and continued to explain what happened. ill do my best to tell you all.

when the story starts...spider informs me that hes having 'one of his nights'...we all know what they are like, and weve all been on the receiving end of the spider hitting his hands!
anyway...spider is somehow up to £1400...and there are 7 other players at the table with a total of around £800 between them. the dealer announces 'last hand of the night...time to go home', to which spider replies...'ive had a lovely night...youve all been a good laugh to play with....ill raise it to £50 blind!!!'
the fella next to act calls, and the next and the next, so in the end everyone at the table calls. the flop comes down A-A-K...1st to act goes all in for £62...next to act calls...next to act moves all in too until all the money at the table barring spiders is in the pot. at this point, spider still hasnt seen his cards...so he decides its best not to look.....and calls all bets!
the turn comes a 2 (or some other meaningless card)...and the river is another ACE.

as the players start revealling their hands...showing a full house (aces over kings), another full house(aces over some other pair) and the odd high card etc....spider eventually decides to look at his hand..........ONLY TO DISCOVER THE 1 REMAINING ACE TO GIVE HIM QUADS AND TAKE EVERY LAST PENNY OFF THE TABLE!!!!!

'The pot' on tour eh????

(he then informed me that he had a quick spin on the roulette on the way out the door and his number 5 came in and made him another £700.....topping off a typical 'spider' kind of night!!
