Well it was a classic really...

There i was with about 70k and thought i would give it a button steal with 4 3 diamonds, raised it 3 x the blind and cookie flat calls.

Flop comes down A 3 5, 2 hearts so I have bottom pair and a gutshot. Cookie checks and I continuation bet 6.5k about pot size, representing the A, hoping to take it down there and then. Cookie flat calls. Uh oh! next card is Q clubs and cookie checks again. After being sniped at by cookie all night for my pay i decided to make a stand and bet again 12.5k, after ages thinking about it cookie makes a great call, but only leaving himself 8k back. river comes down a 4 hearts giving me 2 pair, cookie checks and so do i and BOOM!!! OFF HE GOES!

I was at it, he made a good call and I got lucky Smile
But I still would have played those K's stronger pre-flop and he still only had 1 pair!!!

Beat that one boys!

id just like to say well done max...and well played! you managed to commit 20k to a pot with bottom pair no kicker....then after hitting your miracle card on the river...check behind me because clearly you at no point in the hand, had got a clue where you were......BLIND POKER.....that'll get you far maxwell!!!

and ill just add....the reason i was a bit cautious pre flop, was because the dealer....(which strangely enough, was max).....managed to flip over a king whilst clumsily bumbling around with the deck!

after max's 'scared' bet on the flop....id already decided that he was 'at it' with nothing....hence i was willing to call a 12k turn bet rather than push...(which if i had...max was committed to call anyway i might add....with bottom pair...4 kicker)

in the immortal words of my good friend Dave....everyone here are COCKS!!
